The goal of the Turkish Society of Public Health Specialists (TSPHS) is to work on and support the relevant areas of public health practice by working to further develop public health as a medical specialty in order to protect and promote the health of all people living in Turkey. In order to reach this goal, TSPHS will:

• establish national and international relationships with relevant institutions to further develop the knowledge base in the field of public health,

• support the professional practice of its members,

• support health education of the public in relevant areas,

• provide guidance and leadership for public health advice for relevant institutions,

• strive to increase training/education/research opportunities for its members in public health nationally and internationally,

• organize national and international scientific meetings,

• work to provide support for its members to attend national and international meetings,

• work to provide solutions to work related problems of its members,

• work to develop professional rights and increase employment opportunities,
